The work

Special Inclusion runs personalised development and therapy programmes for children and individuals with special needs in Singapore. The whole of their public presence is design work, and I have done all of it:

  • Logo and identity
  • Responsive website
  • Collateral
  • Facebook, Instagram and TikTok - design, planning, copywriting and posting
  • Meta and Google Ads
  • SEO - article writing and optimisation
  • Presentations and pitch decks
  • Neuro-art worksheets for students, built around fine motor skills

It is the widest scope of anything on this site, and the only project where I am still overseeing the marketing and mentoring their junior designer on campaigns.

Why this one

I am a certified ADHD coach, and I support neurodiverse people where I can. That is not decoration on this project - it is why the work is different.

Designing for this audience means the parent arriving at the site is often exhausted and looking for one specific answer. So the site opens with what the centre actually does, in a sentence, and puts a WhatsApp button where the enquiry will really happen. The palette is warm and high-contrast rather than clinical, and the photography is children being children.

The neuro-art worksheets are the part I am most attached to: activity sheets designed around fine motor skill development, for the students themselves rather than for their parents. It is the same thing I was doing when I taught studio classes at Genesis School and Mountbatten Vocational Centre - design where you cannot assume a shared vocabulary or a second attempt.

The mark is a Penrose triangle - three parts that only hold together as a whole, which is the idea the centre is built on.

Website

Built responsive, with the programme pages, an articles section carrying the SEO writing, and enquiry routed to WhatsApp because that is where Singaporean parents actually reply.

Articles double as the SEO layer - written to be found, and to be worth reading once found.

Social and pitch

Three channels planned, designed, written and posted - Facebook, Instagram and TikTok - plus the decks the centre uses to pitch to schools and partners.
